Members of Independence Seaport Museum receive express entry to the Museum and access to a variety of exclusive opportunities including special exhibition previews, family friendly events, member sails and enrichment programs, which provide both social and educational opportunities. MEMBER SOLAR ECLIPSE VIEWING PARTY - SOLD OUT!

This event is sold out! 

 Join us on Monday, August 21, to view the solar eclipse between 12 p.m. and 4 p.m. Bring a picnic, chair or blanket, and enjoy the eclipse from our second floor terrace. The Museum will provide eclipse viewing glasses free to members who RSVP. This is a weather contingent event. 

Tickets: FREE for Museum Members  
$16 Non-Member Adults (18+ older) 
$12 Non-Member Youth (under 18), Military (active & retired), and
Seniors (65 & over)

SAIL WITH US!
Friday, September 15, from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 

Step back in time and join us for an end of summer sail aboard the A.J. Meerwald, New Jersey's official Tall Ship, a restored 1928 oyster dredging schooner from Bivalve, New Jersey. We will depart from the Museum's dock on Friday, September 15, at 4 p.m., and return at 6:30 p.m.  

After leaving our dock, it's all hands to the halyards to help raise the 3,500 square feet of canvas sail. On this 2 1/2 hour cruise, you'll enjoy the natural beauty of the Delaware River and educational programming with a water focus. All passengers are welcome to bring food and non-alcoholic beverages on board for your enjoyment during the sail. Seating is very limited, so purchase your ticket today!

SAIL WITH US!
Friday, October 20, 4 p.m. 

Voyage out onto the Delaware River aboard the Sigsbee, a Chesapeake Bay skipjack, operated by The Living Classrooms Foundation in Baltimore. The Sigsbee was built in 1901 and was originally used for 88 years to dredge oysters. In 1990, she was sold to the Living Classrooms Foundation, where students and shipwrights completely rebuilt her. Today, she sails the region teaching students and the public about the aquatic environment, history, and economic importance of local waterways. 

Our member sail departs Friday, October 20, at 4 p.m. Boarding takes place at the Museum's boat basin and seating is very limited. Bring a picnic, help the crew hoist Sigsbee's majestic sails and learn about this ship's legacy and restoration as we explore the historic Delaware on this two-hour sail.
