Gunpowder and Glory
Group Price $500 for up to 5 people. Participants must be 12 or older.
This private tour experience will take a group, of up to 5 guests, aboard the Cruiser Olympia for a real behind-the-scenes tour with an expert, down in her engine room, weaponry systems and many areas not seen by the general public. Guests will finish the tour by firing one of Cruiser Olympia's six-pounders! Due to the historic nature and care of Cruiser Olympia, the private tour is only available four times each month, so plan in advance. Tour time is approximately three hours.
A portion of the fee goes towards restoration and operation of this National Historic Landmark. Cruiser Olympia is not ADA accessible. Limit of three blank rounds for gun drill. Contact email@example.com for more information.
Behind the Scenes Tour of the Historic Ships
Explore rarely-visited areas of Cruiser Olympia and Submarine Becuna, including some locations that are typically closed to the public. Learn about how the working machinery and technology operate through demonstrations. The tour departs from the gangway every hour from noon to 3 p.m. Guests must be 12 or older and able to climb steep stairs.
Guided behind-the-scenes tours are offered seasonally. Admission is $20 and includes entry to the Museum. Tickets can purchased on the same day of the tour.
