Your prompt arrival for your scheduled shift is absolutely necessary. You must check in at the Command Center inside the Museum on the 3rd floor at the beginning of your shift. Please try to arrive 15 minutes early. Volunteers will receive at least one break for each shift, which needs to be coordinated with the volunteer coordinator.

Every volunteer receives the official Old City Seaport Festival T-shirt and lanyard. The T-shirt and lanyard must be worn while you are working at the Festival. Please do not make any alterations to T-shirt or lanyard while you are volunteering for the Old City Seaport Festival. There are two info sheets for the lanyards. One has Saturday’s schedule and the other has Sunday’s schedule.
Meal & Beverages
Volunteers will be offered a variety of food and beverages before and during their shift. Alcoholic beverages may not be consumed before or during a volunteer’s shift. All food and beverages are located in the Command Center on the 3rd floor inside the Museum.
The Crew Dinner is at 7 p.m. on October 13 and is a great opportunity for volunteers to relax with all the organizers, Tall Ship crews, vendors and volunteers of the 2013 Old City Seaport Festival. You have free admission to the Crew Dinner aboard Olympia and one additional ticket can be purchased for $5.
