Involvement

From time to time the Museum will request input from Teacher Members on new educational programs and exhibits. One of our goals is to provide tools and programming that is useful to you, the teacher, in your efforts to encourage curiosity and learning in your students. Your experience and expertise will help the Museum craft the kinds of lessons your students need. Are any of the Pennsylvania Academic Standards difficult to meet through classroom instruction? Would some be more effectively met through lessons based in the Museum or on the Cruiser Olympia or Submarine Becuna? Teacher Members will help the Seaport identify the areas of greatest need and formulate programs to fill these needs.

Experience

As a Teacher Member, you'll be eligible to participate in Museum Members-Only events, including guest lectures, behind-the-scenes tours, and exhibit openings.
