Scouting Programs
Troop leaders! Bring your Scouts to Independence Seaport Museum for some maritime fun and learning. We occasionally offer badge programs for Boy and Girl Scouts so check back often - and don't forget our Seaport Slumbers - a terrific group activity.

2009 Shipwrecks & Slumbers
Saturdays in January, February, March, 6:30 pm-10 am
Solve the mystery of the lost shipwreck during an incredible overnight adventure. Learn to read a map, tie nautical knots, and hunt for treasures, plus enjoy activity stations, a live performance and an evening snack. Sleep in the Museum galleries and the next morning tour the WWII Submarine Becuna and the Spanish-American Cruiser Olympia.

Girl Souts - Earn a Folk Art Badge
Saturday, May 10, 12-3 pm
Create a Sailor Valentine, write and sing sea shanties, tour the National Historic Landmark 1892 Cruiser Olympia and WWII Submarine Becuna, and earn your Folk Art Badge.
