Celebrating 50 Years...

Independence Seaport Museum will proudly commemorate its 50th anniversary in 2010 with an exciting yearlong celebration of exhibits, events, and programming.

Please consider making a financial contribution to help launch the Seaport into its second half-century of service as an educational and cultural institution, tourism destination, and repository and showcase for the Delaware Valley's rich maritime heritage.

Your gift will allow us to continue offering educational programming to 15,000 school children, including 5,000 at-risk youth who participate in our scholarship programs. Field trips to the Seaport ignite in children an appreciation for maritime history and a recognition of the Delaware River's essential historical and contemporary role in Philadelphia's development. While enjoying hands-on programs about pirates, immigration, sailors, trade, water ecology and more, the engaged youngsters are also learning invaluable math, science, history and technology skills.

Our goal is to raise
$50,000 for our 50th anniversary
via 200 gifts of $250 each.

You can contribute to Independence Seaport Museum's 2009 Annual Fund by clicking on the "Network for Good" button below or printing a donation form to mail to the Museum with your check or credit card information.

We are delighted to recognize donors at $250 and above on new "Donor Appreciation" signage prominently featured in the Museum lobby and with a commemorative 50th Anniversary bookmark. Your gift, no matter how large or small, will make an incredible impact and be much appreciated. Thank you.
