A note about the Guides for the Cramp and Lenthall Collections

These two guides are frequently requested by researchers. They have only existed in paper form and we are in the process of creating high-quality digitized versions of them. In the meantime, we have made the following versions available.

Before downloading either guide, please be aware:

The files are quite large. At about 25 megabytes (MB), if using a dial-up connection, each would take more than one hour to download.
You may prefer to download the file in the background, so you may continue to use your web browser. To do this, right-click on the link and select the "Save Target As" or "Save Link As" option.
The pages are quite dark, so if you plan on printing out any pages, you may want to print just one page first to ensure that it is legible.
The guides contain searchable text, so you can use Adobe Reader's "Search" function to help you locate words in the guides.
