Distance Learning

Use video-conferencing to bring your students to Independence Seaport Museum without leaving your school. Many of our educational lessons can be delivered right to your classroom via an IP connection.

Distance Learning is also a great way for community and retirement centers to learn about our rich maritime heritage! Many of our lessons can be adapted for an older audience.

Call the Museum at 215-413-8630 or email for more information about Distance Learning. Distance Learning programs are $125 per session. Multiple bookings of the same lesson on the same day receive a discount.

Programs can also be booked through www.cilc.org. CILC Premium Members receive a $25 discount.

Outreach

Let the Seaport sail to you through our Outreach programs! A museum educator will travel to your school to do any of our lessons right in your classroom. Museum educators will bring hands-on materials to do the lesson of your choosing. Just like Distance Learning, Outreach is also a great way for community and retirement centers to learn about our rich maritime heritage and many of our lessons can be adapted for an older audience.

Call the Museum at 215-413-8630 or email to arrange an Outreach program.
